It is Republic Bank of Chicago’s policy to protect the confidentiality of information concerning current and past employees and to release only designated types of information under limited circumstances.
Employees are responsible for authorizing the release of their information to verifying organizations.
Republic Bank of Chicago management is not authorized to release any employee information to individuals or agencies outside of Republic Bank of Chicago. Employees are also prohibited from releasing employment or income verification information. Employment verifications are the responsibility of the Human Resource Department. This is designed to protect Republic Bank of Chicago and its employees from any liability.
Employment verification includes information such as dates of employment, position, and title. It does not include information concerning personal attributes such as an employee’s character.
To request an employment verification of a current or past employee of Republic Bank of Chicago:
If you are a mortgage company, creditor, or potential employer, please submit your request via fax at (630) 928-1443. Please allow three to five business days for processing via fax.

Allow 10 business days for processing via postal mail. Requests received after 5 p.m. will go into the queue for the next business day.
Please be advised that we do not provide verbal requests, or breakdown salaries, such as overtime, bonuses and awards. Republic Bank of Chicago does not produce pay stubs with employer information attached.
We will only complete verifications that are accompanied by the current or former employee’s signed authorization/consent to release information.
In order to serve you better, please be as detailed as possible. If you have a scheduled closing date, note the date on the cover sheet.
If this is a re-verification, please note this on the cover sheet and inform your client that additional inquiries are forthcoming by the lender. Lenders, if your policy requires multiple updates to your original verification request, note this on the cover sheet as well.
