Team members from Republic Bank participated in the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb on Saturday, February 8 at the Oakbrook Terrace Tower. The annual event raises funds for those whose lives are affected by lung disease.
This year, Republic Bank had nine participants climb 31 floors/680 stairs at the tower. Some challenged themselves to climb the tower more than once. Nicole Reeves, VP/Branch Sales Manager at the bank’s downtown Chicago location, climbed 93 floors in total.
“The event was full of positive energy, smiling faces, and teamwork,” Reeves said. “The stairwells were papered in motivational messages.”
The 2020 Fight For Air Climb Oakbrook Terrace surpassed its financial goal and successfully fundraised $180,000.
