Credit Insights is a comprehensive program that can help you stay on top of your credit. The program provides free, ongoing access to your credit score and report, monitors your credit for key changes, and finds savings opportunities on existing and new loans and credit cards – all through your Republic Bank mobile banking account.

With this program, you can check your credit score, full credit report, and factors that influence it. The scores are updated automatically every month or you have the option to refresh your score and report daily.

The program also monitors your credit report daily and will inform you by email if there any big changes are detected – a new account has been opened, change in address or employment, a delinquency has been reported, or an inquiry has been made. This level of monitoring will help you keep an eye out for identity theft.

Your Credit Insights Credit Report provides all the information you would find on a credit file including a list of open loans and accounts and credit inquiries. You will also be able to see details on payment history, credit utilization, and the public records that show up on your account. And, when you check your credit file, it will have no impact on your credit score.


Credit Goals is a feature of Credit Insights. You have the ability to input your desired credit score and a timeline in which you want to achieve that goal. Personalized recommendations will be given, and you can track your progress toward your goals.

No, Credit Insights is entirely free, and no credit card information is required to register.

Your score will be automatically updated every 30 days.  You can also click “refresh” on the Credit Score Dashboard at any time.

Credit Insights pulls your credit profile from TransUnion, one of the three major credit reporting bureaus, and uses VantageScore 3.0, a credit scoring model developed collaboratively by the three major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. This model seeks to make score information more uniform between the three bureaus to provide consumers a better picture of their credit health. Key factors that drive the score are the same.

 No, Republic Bank uses its own lending criteria for making loan decisions and has no access to Credit Insights. Further, Credit Insights is a free service to help you understand your credit health, and make improvements in your scores. Republic Bank doesn’t have access to your credit file with Credit Insights.

Credit Insights has put in place bank-level encryption and security policies to keep customer data safe and secure. Credit Insights also has a sophisticated system that scans for, and thwarts, online bots, intrusions, and attacks.

Credit Insight’s policies and processes are reviewed annually by a third-party auditor and have been verified by FIS’s Security and Compliance for meeting their stringent security guidelines.

Credit Insights is not intended to be comprehensive and may not provide all information about your accounts. That’s why we encourage you to also take advantage of obtaining free credit reports from to look for any incorrect information or discrepancies across all three bureaus. Each bureau has its own process for correcting inaccurate information, but you can “File a Dispute” by clicking on the “Dispute” link within your Credit Insights Credit Report. Also, the Federal Trade Commission website offers step-by-step instructions on how to contact the bureaus and correct errors.

Using Zelle Safely

Pay it safe.

Only use Zelle with people you trust, and always make sure you are using the correct mobile number or email address.

Here are some helpful tips to pay it safe:

  1. Only send money to those you trust because you cannot cancel a payment once it’s sent.
  2. Treat Zelle like cash because once you send money via Zelle, it’s in the recipient’s account.
  3. Beware of payment scams. Zelle does not offer a protection program for authorized payments, so if an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  4. Confirm your recipient’s contact information. Make sure you’re sending money to the right mobile phone number or email address.
  5. Understand your payment options. If you don’t know the recipient or aren’t sure you’ll get what you’re paying for, a debit or credit card might be a better payment choice.
